My error messages were that my server was bouncing back emails from this list and asked me to Reply to the error message as a way of reconnecting. So I'd Reply and the Reply message would bounce back.
If you are getting messages from MacLaunch asking you to reply in order to "reset a bounce counter", well, that's a well documented problem with MacLaunch. I can p-mail you Dan's post to this list describing that problem, if you like.
My rejections, based on "not acceptable" content, are a bit more of a mystery, to me, anyway.
