I'm new to this list but I belong to 4 other great lem lists.
I'm in the middle of putting a 40 gig hard drive on my grand daughter's 333 Mhz cherry imac (1999 vintage?). In the past I've upgraded the firmware, installed 9.1 and added 256 megs of additional memory. So I have been in the machine before. I have the logic board/drive assembly out right now and I want to remove the old drive. I have no diagram to go to this next step. I have great visual instructions to remove memory and change the battery but that's all. I don't want to do damage to the cd player or the cage. I need a sequence to do it right. If there are no acrobat files or websites with that info, can someone recommend a book that takes it that far?
Thanks very much in advance for any help.
