Hey Guys,
I am soon moving the Macs into a new room where they can all be set up, so I
want to use them to the best they can be used. What operating systems would
you recommend for each of the following machines, provided money is no
object (I have nearly every apple operating system post-7.1Pro v.3. They
will be used mostly for word processing but for some networking etc etc...
-Performa 630 Rev.8, 20Mb Ram, 350MB (currently running 8.0) -Performa 450, 20Mb Ram, 160MB (currently 7.6.1) -iMac G3 400"DV", 192Mb RAM, 10GB (Currently 9.2.2) -PowerMac 4400/160 , 64MB Ram, 2GB (Currently 9.0)
As you can see the first three are maxed out which isn't necessarily a good
thing. Advise me! As for the last 2... They both take 168-pin Ram, and IDE
Hard Disks which I have tons of if they require an upgrade.
