Hi All!!,
I just joined the list and ALREADY find myself needing help.
I just purchased a "lightly used" imac G4 and (through being dumb enough to
not ask the right questions) I've just learned that it only comes with a
clean install of OSX, no Appleworks, imovie, idvd...etc, etc.... Is there
anyone here that might be able to help me find installers for this software?
Can I burn dvd's without this software?
Thanks!
Tom
First, does it have a SuperDrive? Some don't. Version 2 of iDVD, which is the only one that worked on my iMac, was only available by purchasing the iLife package from Apple last year. The original version stalled out and ejected the disc while finishing the DVD process, but never actually made any coasters. There was a lot of talk on Apple's discussion boards about it, but V2 seems to have fixed most of the problems.
iMovie 3.0.3 and iTunes 4.2 are downloadable from Apple, software update should find them.
