Interchangable shells?

My Bondi will be here first of the week. I am wondering I have found a 
strawberry shell, can I change out the bondi shell for the strawberry? 
Has anyone attempted this? I did a quick google search, and came up 
empty. Just wondered if anyone has tinkered with the notion?
