PS: The root site is the best configuration site I've found. (I provide phone tech support for an ISP.) There are screen shots of setting up most everything. Mac or PC. <http://www.netfaqs.com>

Again I could use some help with setting up my in-Laws iMac.
I set the iMac up with 9.2. (They did not like OSX, Oh well, I am hoping after using the computer for a while I can upgrade the computer to 10 again).
Using SBC Dial Up service, SBC support instructed me that my in-laws will have to first start Remote Access then connect, then start the mail (OE 5) or browser (IE 5). Is there a way short of writing an Apple Script to allow them to just start either program and have it connect to the internet, and log off when they quit the browser and mail. (I spoke with three different reps and while very polite, they really tried to be helpful, they were unable to divert from the script, When I first tried setting it up while speaking with a rep it would not connect, despite reentering all the same info three times. He suggested I call Apple Tech support. I fiddled with it some more, using Internet Connect Assistant and that got it running).
They also have to start RA, then connect to the internet if they want the computer to access the CDDB and see a music CD, (but that is most likely similar but different solution).
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer, Mark R
