I got this to work too, but I have another wrinkle. I want to share the music on the FireWire hard drive over the network to my Windows laptop. I have no problem seeing the iMac on the windows PC, but I can't see the FW hard drive. I tried checking off "ignore priveleges on this drive" on the drive's get info screen, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?
