My new 17" Imac arrived yesterday and I have spent today setting it up and transferring files from the 350 Imac. I was greatly relieved to discover that I could use my DSL ethernet cable to transfer directly from one to another. I didn't choose to get Fireware or Airport.
Being a non-technical person, I was surprised to find that I could figure out most of this by reading carefully.
