I am now trying to use the CD/RW that I put into the eMac
and I can add that it ain't going very well...

I isn't recognised by Toast 6.0.1, it won't eject normally
and it won't boot the Mac using either an OS 9 or an OS X
CD-ROM.

The CD/RW came from a Formac FireWire drive.

Is there a difference between Apple fitted drives and others ?

Also, I set the jumper to CS (cable select as I didn't know if
the HD were on the same IDE bus), but it isn't. Would it
make a difference if the drive was set to MASTER ???
