Anyway, there is a tool called AOL Address Extractor which works in OS 9 (I don't know about Classic) and extracts the address book into a delimited text file. From there you can easily find converters to vCards or LDIF files which Address Book can read.
I have that (if it doesn't work in Classic, then I can just boot up into OS 9) and Kim's suggestion:

seems to be the way to go from there with the Mac AOL 5
On the PC side of things (and perhaps on the OS X Mac side of things too?), your address book is actually stored or mirrored on AOL's server, so when you move to another machine/version of AOL, the address book is already there. I was delighted to find this out when helping a friend switch from PC to Mac ... I was anticipating a long and awful export/import thing and instead I simply fired up AOL for OS X and there was his address book and mail from his PC all ready to go!
Yep, works the same way with Mac AOL 10.3
(Doesn't help you with the exporting, I know, but just a tip for others!)
As for Eudora, I feel very sure that there's a utility out there on one of the usual download suspects that can do this ...
I'll go to Andrew Starr's excellent Unofficial Eudora page and see what I can find; just thought I'd try not "re-inventing the wheel" first.
Thanks, Chas & Kim!
