Hi everyone; Label this post as one of those 'for what its worth' ones. A couple years ago I had an ink cartrige that was empty and ready to refill as I usually did. Upon noting that the prints were getting to be terrible anyhow, I decided that the thing might be in need of a good cleaning. Refill in hand I decided to inject the cleaner into the cartridge instead of the ink. To my surprise it worked well, cleaned up the cartridge and in fact went on to be totally useful running off from the cleaner itself. Prints were a little light for a few weeks until the cleaner worked through and the cartridge went back on its regularly scheduled ink supply... but it did add new life to an old ink cartridge.
