Ah ha! So it isn't just me. I got a similar message, and tracked it
down to my ASCII-art signature (which contained characters that weren't
ASCII). I could tell it was my fault by changing Mail preferences to
"view all headers," then examining the contents of my Sent folder. Are
you using some funky characters that trigger the different encoding,
"skinny butt"? :)
I used to bounce so much off this list, long ago, that I unsubscribed.
Either I'm smarter now (unlikely, no need to comment), or the Daemon
got more communicative.
