can turn on sharing between the 2 Macs with iTunes and you'll be

Actually, you can copy the libraries directly from one Mac to
another. That is how I keep my iTunes on my Powerbook up-to-date with
my iMac. I used to just drag the folder to the hard drive of the
Powerbook via AirPort, but that would take a long time. Now I just
use Firewire Target Disk mode.
Of course with one Mac on a different floor, the latter is of no use.
