You don't have a Bondi iMac (Rev.A) that has a firewire port, Rev. As did not come with firewire. You most likely have a Blueberry iMac (Rev. D) that has firewire. And no tray-loader iMac have firewire ports, unless they were added by a third-party upgrade.
Couldn't you add firewire to a Bondi just as well as to a Rev D? Since, after all, a fruit-flavored Rev D was ALSO a tray-loader that didn't come with firewire. Either one would have to be upgraded to have firewire.
As pointed out, there was one model of slot-loader that also didn't have firewire.
