Hi, again! Since I haven't received any responses to my earlier query by the same title, I guess I might fairly infer that:
a- I made my inquiry too all-encompassing, too much to handle. And/or b- What I am looking to learn was so unclear that I lost you, and you had no easy way to respond. And/or c- There's no easy answer, and you chose not to give what might prove unsound advice. Well, I'm still a bit lost about which way to go, so I'd like to ask just the simplest part of my previous post again, and hope you'll respond to this so that I can begin to update the OSs. Here's the seminal request: I believe I need to start up the tangerine 400 slot-loader from each of the various Mac OS install disks which originally made those installations. . . I don't know how to get that CD into the slot-loader. I've only used tray-loaders until now. Do I just push it in before hitting the on/off button? Just after I hit the on/off button? When should I press the "C" key on the keyboard in this instance? I'm looking forward to your help. If you feel it's too basic a question to be addressed publicly on the list, I'd be grateful if you'd just email me an answer directly. Thank you!
