Assuming your running OS X. If it fails too and your get an error have
you ever used a CD cleaning disk to clean the lens? I have to clean

I'm having the same problem. Can't burn CD's anymore.
Did you ever figure out what the problem was.

hi. are you unable to burn all kinds of CD's, or just CD-RW's?
i am able to burn CD-R's just fine, but the CD-RW's i purchased
(which had a black bottom) didn't work. The members of the list
suggested to try using a different brand (i.e. ones without the black
on the bottom)
if you cant burn ANY kind of CD's, i would be more than happy to post
a question for you on the list.
