The easiest thing is to go to Other World Computing's site ( http:// www.macsales.com/ ) and click on the memory link, then choose your eMac model and it will give the details of the chips that fit.

Once you know this, you can also check the price from other vendors using one of the memory comparison-shopping sites, http:// dealram.com/ or http://ramseeker.com/ - they distinguish emac models by their memory type, so you need to know what memory yours takes before using them. (Sorry, don't remember from the beginning of this thread what kind of eMac you have.)

Or you could check your local Circuit City flyer and see if their rebate deals this week cover your type :-)
