Hello,
My on switch on my G3 333 stays lit green after shut down. If I do not turn off the power (on the surge protector) prior to rebooting, the screen stays dark, even though the mac has booted up.
My system: G3 333, OS x 10.3.3 with 9.2.2, 192 megs RAM, 40gb hd.
I have owned this Mac since 2004, and it has done this a few times before, but this quirk has mysteriously stopped on its own, after a few sessions. This time it has been doing this for about a week. Is this a software problem, or a symptom of an aging machine (1999 model) on its way out? I really love this imac, and would like to be able to rely on it for years to come.
Thank you for your help.
Tim
