Does anyone know of Safari add-ons (or inbuilt features) that:-

1) Let you add a new bookmark at the point in the "Bookmarks Menu" where you click, instead of having to select a location first? 2) Let you save the URL of a downloaded file within the downloaded file itself (like the "comments" feature of OS9)? 3) Let you see the URL of a link when you click and hold the mouse onto it?

Also, in Apple's "Mail" program, is it possible to globally colour the background of each mail instead of the default white?

Kevin,

I don't know about 1 & 2, but for #3, enable Safari's status bar, with View->Status Bar. Then, as you hover over a link, you'll see the URL in the status bar.
