I've a iMac 233MHz and I'm trying to get it working. Because the iMac hasn't HDD I had to install a new one (empty, no mac OS on it). And here begins the problem: I'm unable to boot from a OS9.2.2 CD. In fact, the CD starts loading but it stops when a floppy icon with a question mark inside appears in the middel of the screen. If I make the installation to the hard disk from another machine (emac) and reinstall the HDD to the iMac, when booting appears the mac face folder plus a queston mark. My question is? will be the mac os 8.1 CD able to boot?
