Also, I just thought about grounding You say you mounted with velcro, last I checked velcro is not good grounding material. make sure the metal of the drive chassis is connected to the metal of the system chassis If you cant get it to read disks try this b4 returning the drive Use a wire and a couple mounting screws to connect it to the laptop if you cant screw it directly to what the orig drive mounted to. -- I'm a PC(x86 AND ppc) AND I RUN LINUX!!!
