Not to be flip, but do you mean the first in the list of two or the
first model built?  In any case, I'd look at the Apple specs on their
web site.  That reflects the status of available RAM at the time of
design.  I'd also look at what both Crucial, and Macsales (OWC) and
maybe other reputable vendors are willing to sell for the maximum.
That could more than the Apple spec.
