Hi All... The reason for the question.. I'm diabetic and got a new meter that is capable of transferring data via IR link. Have an Aluminum Intel iMac 2008 model. I know there is no IR port as such, but could the receiver for the remote, somehow, accept data from the meter? Yeah, it's a stretch I know, but Macs are capable of some pretty amazing stuff! Oh! Is there an USB/IR dongle that might work?
