I assume that your specification error was inadvertent.  The eight iMac G5 
models that Apple sold during 2004-2006 all had 17-inch and 20-inch screens, 
never 23-inch.

There are numerous vendors of Mac replacement parts, such as:

However, their costs for some parts exceed recent eBay auction bids for 
complete iMac G5 models of that vintage.
