I recently got a nice little iMac G4 800 MHz machine on Craigslist. Just needs a little TLC. One of the things that were abused are the Apple Pro Speakers - M6531. One of them had a detached surround and gave a lovely "fwomp, fwomp" sound whenever any kind of bass note played. I managed to re-glue the surround to both the cone and the frame, and actually have it sounding quite good.
Unfortunately, the other speaker is completely missing its surround. I'm wondering if anyone reading this might have one of these with a dead driver or something, from which I could grab a surround to repair my speaker. Anyone? -- -- You received this message because you are a member of the iMac Group, a group for those using Apple iMacs and eMacs.
