Greeting Rodrigo,
I successfully convert the provided video to an AVI-format that ImageJ
is able to open *directly*.
I used the free software "VLC media player" and converted the video by
using the AVI container and Motion-JPEG as codec.
The conversion will take a while.
Good luck
Herbie

Hello, when I try to open this file

using the FFMPEG plugin [File->Import->Movie(FFMPEG)], I get the following
error:

Any ideas?
Also, many times when I try to open different video files (both AVI from
'Open' and other formats/containers using Import (FFMPEG) I get the "codec
not supported"/"unsupported compression" kind of message.
Most of those times, I try different codecs, which I'd like to avoid.. Is
there a place on the documentation website to get the list of supported
codecs so I can know which combination won't fail?
Thanks!
Rodrigo
