You can either edit the <img> link in LoginScreen.cgi and print.html (top
left tab) with a hardwired-logo, or have 1,000 different logo files, one for
each virtual, even if they're all the same. There is no way for Javascript
to look to see if an image file is present, and if not, to default another
image. Sorry.
