Sounds like they may be AOL users, or otherwise behind a shifting-IP proxy
server. Unless you CHECK the "Ignore Source Address in Security Check"
option in IMail Admin | Local Host | Web Messaging, if a user's IP changes
midstream, they'll get kicked out to the login page. There's an Ipswitch KB
article on this topic as well, at

The only other explanation would be if you have a problem with user
authentication, which normally happens only with not-perfect ODBC
connections to an external user db.
