Neil,
Don't know what to tell you. There are others here who might or might not
speak up that are running the new templates on hundreds of domains, with
thousands of users. The only reason KWM might be harder on your server is
that it serves a few more page requests (particularly on the initial frame
load), and marginally larger pages (due to the extra code and features). So,
if your server is borderline-loaded, KWM might push it over the edge, so to
speak.
Do you have IMail's monitor service turned off?
Ipswitch will be releasing 6.05 very soon... and it has significant
improvements. But I'm concerned that something else is going on with your
server besides the templates that is causing, or at least contributing to,
the problem.
