No. Not with out a major re-write of the stylesheets and DHTML code.

There are separate color values for the top buttons, and for the background
colors.
The links on the left do NOT have a separate background color. The link
color uses the "light" value, and the background color on the left uses the
"medium" value. You MUST use contrasting values on those two settings.
