Andy,

I haven't tried anything like this, but if I were going to I would automate the login form submission with Javascript, appending a special URL value to the form action, then recognize and read it with Javascript on the welcome.html page, redirecting to the admin URL of my choice.

I heard about a ColdFusion admin interface several months ago on the Ipswitch IMail forum... he basically hacked an interface onto the port 8181 output (not normally editable).

Subject: [imail] Question about automating imail admin

Ron,

We are usig your KWM template and etremmely please. We are tying to automate some user management and were wondering if its possible to automate logging in into imail and going to a certain page section automatically.

I have sucessfully setup a small javascript/asp page that bypasses the login and goes to the main login menu, but what I want to do is bypass the login and go straight to the admin section of Imail. We don't care about accessing mail fiunctions, just be able to administer a domain (we will login as adminfor that host).

Is this possible? Any hints on how to accomplish this? Any other tools that automate Imail Admin (at the domain leve) that are written in ASP?

Thanks!
Andy
