This is somewhat related. If recreate a user who's ldap fields were previously filled, it retrieves the old information instead of starting with a clean profile. Is this a bug or feature in IMail? I would think that when I delete a user, it cleans out all the info from the ldap database too. -david -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Sunday, December 03, 2000 2:55 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [imail] User Info - External Database > The issue I have now is that whenever I update a user's info > either thru the > Imail Admin console or thru the Web, the Access database is not > updated yet > I see the updated info in the admin console. That's a drawback of using an external db... changing IMail's LDAP fields, either through the web interface or through the IMail console, does not update the external db. -ron ______________________________________________________________________ The HKSI-IMail Admin List is hosted by........
