What kind of false email accounts... are you talking about new folders like
[EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], or completely new
accounts?
If they're just creating new folders, that's a bug/feature of IMail. I
believe the Ipswitch kb has an article on how to change the folder delimiter
character from the hyphen to something else (they'd have to guess it then),
but doing so breaks functionality in the web templates (like saving drafts,
saving Sent msgs, and Deleting msgs).
If the latter, are you using EZSignUp or some other web-based signup form
somewhere? There's no way I know of to remotely create an account in IMail
other than web-based scripts. Do you run a webserver on the same box?
Perhaps someone uploaded a cgi script that's triggering your adduser.exe
utility?
