Thanks Brian,
Also what seems to work is a batch file as follows:
"C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe" " http://www....../code.asp"
I have not tried scheduling it yet but the .bat file works so I assume the scheduler
will run it as well...

Subject: [imail] OT: scheduling an asp process
Hi,
I am wondering, is there a way to use the scheduler to run an asp routine?
I have an asp routine that does some maintenance and would like to schedule
it to run nightly. I do not have the file type set to IE as I don't want
them launched by double clicking.
Is there a way to create a .bat file to start IE and then load the supplied
page or is there another way???
It's a W2K server with IE 5.
thanks, bob
