If I want to delete messages - Decide its easier to mark them all, then unmark the ones I don't want to delete Click on Delete Marked Messages - it deletes them all Also, if I first mark some before clicking Select All - it just toggles the checkmark on every message. If it was on, now it's off. If it was off, now it's on. And the Delete Marked messages does not respect the checkmarks as they are when Delete Marked Messages is clicked - it uses only, I think, the initial state of the checkmarks prior to clicking Select All, unless Select All was the first way marks were put on, in which case it deletes all - even if some where unchecked manually. I have delete confirmation - and saving to a delete folder - turned on for myself. But I'll bet this is how one of my customers recently lost her messages for good... she did select all and then deselected what she wanted to keep - had no delete conf. and no delete mailbox... clicked Delete Marked Messages and lost them all on that page. ???? ______________________________________________________________________ The HKSI-IMail Admin List is hosted by........
