Hello All,
I am trying to get pop access and smtp auth setup correct.
I am doing this for the main host on the machine, not a virtual.
When I try to send and receive it just times out and doesn't
give me an error? I just asks if I want to try again and
keep waiting
I am using outlook express as the client.
WHAT AM I MISSING???
I am running:
Win2k
imail 6.06
imailsetup:
relay for addresses, added my server's ip address
disable smtp auth reporting is UNchecked
I have proper mx record setup for www.xyxy.com
My outlook express setup is
pop: mail.xyxy.com
smtp: mail.xyxy.com
incoming mail server
account: name
pwd: password
outgoing mail server
checked my server uses authentication
entered the email account and password
