I think you could create a list for all users and then nightly (or whatever frequency)
schedule a batch that will generate a new users.lst from the users folder and save the
file to the users.lst file in the lists folder for your list. The batch file for this
would not be difficult...
As an aside to this here's what I think would be a good update for Ipswitch:
(I just noticed this is from the hksi list but what do others think of this idea)
Modify imail1.exe so that you can specify a file for the recipient list. With that
change we could then generate lists of users that we could then mail.
What I think would be nice, as an example.
Say you needed to e-mail people with forwards set on their mail account for some
reason. You can create a bat file to look for the forward.ima file in each users
directory and if it's found write the user-id to a file. Then, if imail1.exe would
allow the file input for recipients you could email them that way...
As I understand it, currently we have to create a list to do that e-mail.
