Sorry, but it seems true. I can't believe they didn't test the upgrade
script against domain names with a dash within the name. I setup a test
server this afternoon and reran the upgrade routine and it boomed out
too. So, either there is something wrong with my download, or the
upgrade action is buggy.
But, then again, I did use the Externalizer applet from Ron's shop to
move the hosts from the NT registry to MS SQL. That might be the issue
and it might not be present in original installs with SQL being the
base, in place of NT. I duplicated exactly what we have on our
production machine.
I notified IpSwitch support, but haven't heard anything back from them.
I should know better then to install it after it's release, but I always
do. Heck, I even waited until the second update... Go figure.
There are also features missing that are in the manual, but not in the
application. Hmmm... Did they forget about them?

Installation Version: Full 7.02 downloaded from customer support site to
upgrade 6.06 with rollup applied.
Problem: Additional columns necessary for the 7.0X upgrade not being
created on certain domains that are connected via an external database
(MS SQL 2000 with SP1 Applied) on certain host tables.
Issue: It seems that tables for domains (hosts) that contain a dash
within the domain name (i.e. www.allthatis-health.com) will not upgrade
the necessary new additional columns. All other domains that do not
contain dashes will upgrade without issue.
Resolution: Deleted the IMail host entries for those domains that
contained a dash and then deleted the SQL server table entries for the
related IMail hosts.
Re-ran the installation of 7.02 and it completed without error.
So, I guess there will be a 7.03 issued on Tuesday? Hmmm....
