We have Imail 7.2 with no hot fixes form Ipswitch on W2K and yet we have the same
problem.

Ron,
I just installed imail on another machine, updated to 7.02 and no HF2. I
stopped all the services and copied all the dll's and exe's over to my live
machine (thinking that will undo hf2) upon testing I still have the
problem...Hope that helps
