I know you're busy with this preview thing, while your waiting for
responses I want to run something by you.
I am running 6.06 + patches (still skeered of 7) with KWM
I occasionally have a new message show up in my inbox that refuses to be
read. When you read it the icon changes to an open folder but the new
mail count in left frame doesn't change. Upon refresh it dings and shows
new mail icon again. If I move it to another folder and read it then
acts right.
Not a major issue, but I need to try to fix it.
I have modified some JavaScript but mostly to rearrange the colors. If
that had broken something it should be consistent to right?
Has this been addressed before?
Anyone else noticed this?

Well, we don't know *why* rmail.cgi started throwing errors today on
everyone's IMail 7 servers, but we do have a fix ready for testing. The
fix was to replace every instance of calling
"/rmail.<usernumber>.cgi..."
with "readmail.html", a more direct way of calling the message viewing
template.
Sooo, for those willing to help us test, I've attached a beta of KWM
Hotfix 2.0.4, a zipped set of files. Just replace your imail/web files
of
the same names, and reload the page. There is no need to stop/restart
web
messaging.
Once I hear that several people are using the new files successfully,
I'll
make them available via the download page, too.
