It could be because you have no reverse DNS entry for your mail 
server.  Not many people are brave enough to block on that (*lots* of 
people don't have the reverse DNS entry, even though all hosts are supposed 
to have one).  But, rumor is that AOL does block if the reverse DNS entry 
doesn't exist.

Another idea is to go to http://postmaster.info.aol.com which goes into 
more detail (as well as more vagueness) about their filtering.
