config_ImagesPathRegular.cgi doesn't seem to exist with the Classic
templates under 6.x. Is that correct?

Patrick,

IMail's web messaging server is really poor at serving multiple small
gifs, and their headers are set improperly so that browsers won't cache
them. KillerWebMail is slower only that it involves a frameset with 5
individual page loads on the initial login, and does use a lot of little
gifs for the nice menu system and top buttons. After the initial load,
most users feel like the added functionality and lack of the need to go
Back so much make it a faster, more productive interface.

Keep in mind that off-loading the image serving to a *real* webserver (IIS
on a different box is ideal) will speed up KillerWebMail by at least 2X.
See the readme.html file under config_ImagesPathRegular.cgi for more
details on that very highly recommended configuration.

-Ron
