I'm pleased to announce the immediate availability of the KillerWebMail v2.0.6 Hotfix at http://www.humankindsystems.com/downloads/ NEW FEATURES AND FIXES - Print Link from Message Preview Pane Version 2.0.5 and earlier had a bug with the Print link from the message preview pane. This version includes a new readmail.html file that fixes that bug, and adds the new feature of automatically stripping the banner ad and the button links from the message when the Print function is called. - Recipient Field Length Limit is now configurable. IMail 7.03 lifted the hardwired limit of 255 characters in the recipient fields, so there is a new file called config_RecipientFieldLengthLimit.cgi in this fileset. If desired, edit the Recipient Field Length Limit in this file. The default is 1000 characters. We recommend values between 200 and 2000; if set high, you risk spammers using your webmail system to BCC very long lists of recipients. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use commas, spaces, or carriage returns in this file. - We've reintroduced the config_MailBoxSizeLimitKB.cgi file, which was not included in versions 2.0.5 and earlier of the IMail 7 templates, since we thought Ipswitch's new tag functionality would allow us to get the *actual* user's limit. That turned out to be only half-true. If the user's limit is set to "0", then according to IMail documentation the domain's default limit will be enforced. We're including this config file again, as in the IMail 6 KWM templates, since the IMail tag does not recurse up and return the domain's default limit, but rather the literal "0". The file's contents should be set to the domain-specific account size limit, in kilobytes. For example, a setting of 10000 is ten thousand kilobytes, or approximately 10MB, a common size limit on free mail accounts. If you set this file to "0", then all users will have an unlimited mailbox size (as far as the web interface is concerned), and will not get warning popups or a size graph. To customize this size limit for virtual domains, give the virtual domain a /web directory, and put just the customized config_ file in it (this works with all config files you wish to customize on a per-domain basis). If you do set a default domain limit of other than "0", for system admins and others who may truly have a "0" (unlimited) limit it will be necessary to instead enter a very large size limit, such as 1000000000 (approx. 1 GB), in the Mailbox size limit setting in IMail's admin console for those users (note that the admin console uses Bytes instead of Kilobytes as in our config file). We will continue to monitor IMail's tag functionality and make this process as streamlined as possible, while giving you an optimized level of control of user mailbox sizes. - A bug seen when no default logo was present, that caused an endless loop of image source reload attempts on the login screen and the top frame, has been fixed. - A bug in the moving of messages to folders with a space in their name has been fixed. - A minor error in the user help documentation regarding the non- existant Confirm Sent Message option has been fixed.
