Bruce,
We've seen that error on a couple of other systems, and from our testing
the problem is coming from IMail. The fact that a screen refresh often
displays correctly means there is no problem in the code. I believe it has
something to do with IMail 7's message index files, so you should also
delete that user's *.uid files (IMail will rebuild them) to see if that
works.
