Worked fine for me, IE5.5 SP2.

Do you have the "Ignore Source Address in Security Check" option CHECKED in the Imail Admin console | localhost | Web Messaging screen? You should. If it's not, check it, hit Apply, then stop and restart web messaging. By NOT having that checked, your AOL dialup users, or anyone else behind shifting-IP proxies (some cable modem networks), will not be able to login, or if they do, will get kicked out at random.

Subject: [imail] Wierd problem....

I have a weird problem..  I have some users that are having trouble trying to log into a mail server: The official host name is mail.amerilink-11.net.  When they try to log in with Windows 98 and Internet Explorer 5.x or 6, it won't log them in but says they entered a bad password.  It works fine in netscape.  It works fine on any other operating system.  Any other domain on the same server works fine.

I want to think that it has something to do with the hyphen in the name..  Can anyone duplicate it and tell me what the fix might be?

Thanks in advance for your help!!
