Hi all,

I posted the following message last week regarding the incorrect message count problem
on deletion. I proceeded to email ipswitch about my finding. Ipswitch emailed back
the following message:

    Hey Mark,

I tested this on my machine and it seemed to run fine.

When you upgraded with the patch, did you reinstall the templates? If so,
    which templates are you using?

    Thanks!

    Have a good day!! :)

Well, I am using the KWM 2.09 templates. Is anyone having the same problem as me?
Does anyone know if this is known problem with KWM and it was fixed in one of the
patches?

TIA,

Mark Kam

Subject: Incorrect Message Count on Deletion

Hi all,

Many weeks ago, I posted a message regarding iMail showing incorrect message count
during a deletion (the original message is enclosed). I applied 7.05 patch. But the
problem is still there.

I finally discover the trigger to this problem. So I am posting a follow up message
to share my discovery (just in case someone is interested).

The trigger seems to be the delete confirmation option in web messaging. If delete
confirmation is enabled, the message count is one more than the actually deleted
number of messages. When delete confirmation is disabled, then the message count is
correct. I tested this several times with the option on and off.

I suppose the next step will be to notify ipswitch so they can fix this problem.
