After locking it down things will smooth out eventually.
I can not even count the MB of log files from where we
were relay raped on our old server.  Disable relay is still
relatively new for most SMTP servers.  Since SMTP was
designed to relay up til a couple of years ago when all these
bogus lusers started spewing their garbage there was no need
to have a way to disable it.

Myself personally I think that all dialup access providers should
provide Outgoing SMTP services for their dial up users and no
one else.

I guess my only option will be to totally lock it down, get off
the damn list, change my IP to one of the other IPs on my
system and then just open up local relaying.  UGH.
