there several things you can do
1. check with your customers's pop/smtp server software manufacturers to
see if this feature is available, if so upgrade
2. sell them a c copy of i-mail, availabkle wholesale from tech data
3. there are some perl scripts available, not free, i don't know the exact
sites but a simple search will probably reveal a few sites. a particular
one that come to my mind is called " the mailman"

none of the above options are FREE, if that's what you're looking for, good
luck!!

By far i-mail is the best web messanger i've seen and used

we paid for this feature, so should everyone else!!
