I've got NAVIEG installed, but I'm having problems getting the reg value for the smtp port to change to 26.  I've looked in the manual and stop and started service and it's just not wotking.  is it a DWORD or a string and do I enter the number 26 or do I need to figure out what the hax value is?

James,

the normal method is to run it on a separate machine from Imail, Web is only a way of accessing your mail, it has already passed the virus scanner then. The changes in the records are as follows:

U would want to create a new A record eg. navieg.yourdomain.com
Your existing MX record has to point to this new A record.

That's it.
By the way, I have very good experience with NAVIEG.

We are considering purchasing Norton for Email Gateways.  Is it possible to run this on a separate machine from Imail and how does this affect web mail?  If it is possible for both, how would the dns be done?  Would the mx record point to the scanner and pop and mail point to the imail box?  Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks James PressleySystems AdministratorIntegrity Online
