No danger in using Adduser that I am aware of.  I don't
use it because it does not pass the default user settings
to the account like I want it to.

If you use ADDUSER.EXE, you *can* add 2-letter usernames.

That's one thing I cannot understand: why nobody - including Daniel from
IPSwitch - told it to Herve?
Is there any "hidden danger" in using adduser.exe that I'm not aware of?
I use it here since 5.03 with no problems at all, but I'd like to know if
it's threatening my server in any way.

Well, you cannot create 2 letter usernames, but if you create a 2 letter
Alias, and point that to the users complete email address, mail to the 2
letter name will go to that user.
